I can't come up with as zippy a line as Rich.. . but those emitting HD2
are now free of restrictions on content and commercials.
But fear not:
--------
ORLANDO -- September 3, 2008: Saying all its original goals have been
achieved, the HD Digital Radio Alliance has lifted all restrictions on
its members concerning programming and commercials on HD2 and HD3
multicast stations. But, at the same time, the alliance said all member
broadcasters have "pledged to preserve the local diversity and consumer
choice of their HD2 content, as well as the clutter-free nature of the
programming" through a set of voluntary guidelines.
======
And, a new head of the HD Alliance:

These two items should have receivers just sailing off the shelves, any
day now.
Remember, these guys are doing their part, selling receivers for 1/2 off:
The Radiosophoy HD radio normally sells for $99.95, but they have a
rebate program right now through the end of the month that offers a $50
rebate.
HD has never looked so good! ;-)
