Sponsor Conflict Prevention went away when the NAB did a consent
decree regarding restraint of trade; IIRC, the "Standard NAB
Contract" was the first casualty.
Best one I've heard is for THREE jewelers back-to-back, a sweeper,
then two MORE jewelers back-to-back... PLUS a repeat of one of the
jewelers from the FIRST portion of the stopset. FIVE DIFFERENT
jewelers within the same six-minute stopset (Oh, yeah - all sixties;
no 30 second pikers in THIS lot!)
Used to be, the only time you'd get competing spots was when you ran
a National spot in a local position of a network program, and someone
in Traffic forgot to check against the commercial listing... or the
network did some shuffling without telling anyone.....
