         In many ways, although it sounds like
         an oxymoron, "live on tape" tells you a lot -
         assuming they really do not stop the tape,
         nor edit it for broadcast.

         On the other hand, during my on-air days,
         I used to chafe at the Sunday night program
         shouting "live and direct" ... from a pair of
         7- inch reels of tape.
