It was laid to rest many years ago, particularly on TV. In the olden 
days you could blame a conflict on one spot being local and the other 
network. The conflict was missed by traffic. Now everyone runs as 
many as three auto spots back to back to back. At least I can compare 
cars in three minutes and decide which of the two fast food joints I 
want to drive them to. I think it's still supposed to be bad to play 
two female vocals back to back. We have our standards.
