What the article fails to mention is that the
wireless mics work well CLOSE TO the
STL receiver (the broadcast transmitter sites).
Near the broadcast studio (the STL tx site)
is where interference can be expected. This
is the opposite of what many people may
think, but it is true. When they see large towers,
they expect interference. Since the 950 MHz
STL transmitters are far removed from the
broadcast transmitter sites, the mics can
enjoy interference free operation.
