Unfortunately, that's wishful thinking. When you live or die by the
ratings you've got to know how to psyche them out Don't forget that
people fill out diaries. Diaries begin on Thursday. Ever notice how
many contests are held on Thursday morning at 7:20? Note how many
stations in current and future PPM markets are changing formats to
those that get the best PPM numbers.

I think that's why many of us envy people in unrated markets. Just by
virtue of the size of their markets they can do their own, personal,
surveys because they know their fellow residents.

Pipe dream. Most people here are engineers, mot programmers. Note how
inactive the programming lists are. Programmers rarely share their
secrets. I'm afraid engineers aren't the people programmers,
consultants and managers go to for advice.
