And look at what CBS did in Phoenix. They fired their long time morning drive
personality-who just happened to be #1!
Predictably, their ratings fell right into the tank!

Poor performance, good performance...NOTHING makes a difference when bean
counter trolls are firmly in control!

I don't think they WANT to discover the reason for poor performance, Tom.
Based upon some of the boneheaded decisions I've seen the past few years I
think we'd discover it was the ones at the TOP that are responsible for the
poor performance!  Perfect job security they have...blame everyone else for
the problem(s) and keep cashing that paycheck!

Clear Channel ordered the cut of a well respected midday
jock on a country formatted station here in CT. I knew him
back 20 years ago. The PD, who oddly enough, hired him
at 13-WAVZ years before, had to fire him through no doing
of his own. It was a Corporate decision to voice track that
time slot nationwide.

The real reason for poor performance should be discovered.
