I dunno...
My contacts say he's a pretty good guy.
Perhaps he decided to do the firing himself, rather then have a Citadel lackey
do it-then decided "screw it, I'm outta here".
Let's see-we're up against WGN, the station that legends are made from-now how
can we compete effectively?
I KNOW! Let's GET RID of people! If we ELIMINATE half our talent and our
entire news department we'll be in a MUCH better position to compete!
Makes me wonder what Senior management at Citadel are smoking in that glass
pipe!

He guts the station and then sneaks out like a bad dog.
