While you have your STL down, I would get a couple of 4" fans and see
if you can rig them to blow across the heat sinks on the back.  These
critters run hot. In a crowded rack, the heat sinks just don't seem to
do a very good job of dissipating all the heat without some air flow
across them.

Since you have the unit down anyway, would not hurt with a ten year
old unit to replace the filter caps & check the "grease" on the
regulator IC's. As I remember, the way they mounted the filter caps
they are not that difficult to change but you have to watch the
dimensions on any replacement caps. Allied has the exact replacements.
