I don't know how far they have progressed, but Google's plan is that  
all of their software will be both hardware and operating system  
agnostic.  As of a year ago, some already ran on OS X.

While it is very underpowered by today's standards, your Pismo will  
run OS X, and SHOULD be able to support one stream.  More than that  
on a 400 MHz G3...   Well, that could really be pushing it.  Of  
course, the only way you know is to try.
