I've lived in different areas of the country where I've experienced 
almost every kind of potential natural disaster, including the threat 
of tsunamis in Alaska.

The only violent weather I really fear is a hurricane. There's 
virtually no escape once it's begun. The destruction is wide. Unless 
they're extremely powerful, earthquakes don't bother me. People used 
to laugh when I mentioned I felt a small quake in New York. You get 
to know what they feel like, especially on the upper floors of a skyscraper.
