"All China, all the time." Look around us. If we already think we 
have meddlesome management consider all the restrictions foreign 
governments put on broadcasting. Broadcasting is a cultural thing. I 
see foreign owners with all kinds of political "missions," few of 
which would translate well.

While US programing spans the world, how much foreign-produced 
programming or other entertainment makes it into the US mainstream?

The only upside may be that China would step into the Clear Channel 
deal and fund it.
