Frequency/band would be helpfull.

cable and tv stations usually use the cband band
called C.A.R.S. at 6 - 7 gig.

if you are looking for the standard 900 mhx stuff try
ebay - 900 meg broadcast stl gear shows up there alot.

try a search in consumer electronics, musical
instruments and industral mro catagorys for
"broadcast" and "microwave"

don't forget to check the stations license to see what
band is in use or if you need to apply for an stl or
intercity relay license.

while we are on the subject - the local poor tv
station i contract for uses the 6 - 7 gig cars band.

anyone have gear in this band they want to get rid of?

in addition to a spare transmitter and rcvr a 5 to 50
watt rf amp would be nice.

they are still running microwave assoc. gear after
parts for the farinon gear became unobtanium and the
m.a. or ma/comm parts are becoming unobtanium.

unfortunetly, 6 - 7 gig gear does not show up on ebay
that often.
