Actually both at different times.

He put 1060 WGTR (licensed to Natick, a western suburb of Boston) on 
the air in the early 70s.  This was the first voicetracked station I 
ever heard, done with reel-to-reel automation.  He sold it some time 
in the late 70s/early 80s.  He then put on channel 66 WVJV "V-66" in 
the mid-80s at the height of music video mania.  Much of Boston at 
the time had no cable at the time, thusly no MTV.  I thought they did 
a very good job with it, much better than MTV imho.  He sold that a 
couple years later to some home-shopping channel.
