Boston protects Nashville as if Nashville is the Class A that it is.
Just as Los Angeles protects Seattle as if Seattle is the Class A
that it is.
It's just that Boston and Los Angeles were on their respective
frequencies as 5 kW regionals before the others were on-air as clears.
Remember, 1460-1490, which later became 1500-1530, were classified as
regionals (5 kW max), later as "high powered regionals" (10 kW max),
and only later became reclassified as clears (10 kW min, 50 kW max).
KIRO started out on another frequency, and later moved to 710.
Don't know about WLAC.
