I've been told KLSQ in Whitney (Henderson, NV) has never been able to get
commercial power to their site, that they run on generator 24/7.

Can anybody confirm that rumor?  I'm told the reason is the BLM, is that
also true?

Having dealt with the BLM I can say for certain anything bad you hear about
them is true.

Seems odd, since there are serious high tension power lines nearby, one is
one of those +/- 500kv DC lines just to the south of the site.
