Well, there's JJ Jeffrey (WRKO, WMEX, I think he might have worked at
WFIL & WLS too). Started Fuller-Jeffrey Broadcasting in the 70s with
fellow former WMEX jock "Doc" Fuller. Among other stations they
owned WOKQ in N.H. and WBLM in Maine (powerhouse heritage country &
AOR respectively). He's sold those (undoubtedly at a nice profit),
and currently owns a handful of Portland, Me. rimshots.
