Sold some time ago.

The present owner, Mapleton, is asking for its KGA (Class A) to be
reduced in class to Class B and reduced in night power to 20 kW so
that KPIG can be boosted from 0.25 kW to 2.5 kW.

San Francisco is already over-radioed, and the real winner of this
move will be Ontario's 1510 which can increase power perhaps to 20 kW
or higher, nights. It already has an application to boost night power
to 6 kW, and to boost day power to 50 kW.

Mapleton admits in its KGA application that lower powered stations
from Ontario to Phoenix, and beyond, can significantly boost their
night power, or change from Class D to Class B.

BTW, Saul started yet another 540, the one in Salinas (licensed to
Carmel Valley), and a 1090, the one in Frasier Park (but with its
night transmitter way, way far away in Bakersfield).

Part of Mapleton's plan is to exchange calls with co-owned 790.

790 will get 1510's call, 1510 will get 790's call.
