[BC] Question/Statement About The Cost of Streaming

Well, then I have an issue with how WMVY p[hrases it.
To me, the website makes it very clear that it's the STREAMING that
costs $500,000 a year. If they claim it's the streaming that costs
that much, but it's really the entire station operations, then they
are being unfair and decietful to their listeners by not making
things more clear.

Because all the station operations are folded into one. The transmitter and
FCC license costs are the only thing not really connected to the streams,
and are a minor percentage. Were it a 50kw AM or FM, that would be
different. But, the transmitter TPO is only 2.1kw which is not a lot of $$
per month. Of the work I do there, almost none cannot be tied in some
fashion to the streams. The dollar amount is hardly exact. "...cost more
than $500,000..."
