Wasn't this owned at one time by the family that owns WFUR in Grand Rapids?

I worked for a 1250 in Manchester, NH where you could see the towers from 
the north-south turnpike, but not hear the station at night, not unlike the 
12 towers in Detroit, you could see the towers in your rearview but find 
yourself listening to WTOP.

One of the worst was WRAN in Dover, NJ... it's pattern day or night 
completely missed the population centers.  The owner was a real SOB, he 
called me to help solve a problem, which I did, then called my boss at the 
station where I worked full-time and suggested he fire me for moonlighting.
