I think you've got something there Phil.

I remember a political cartoon back in the '60's where NYC high school 
kids thought that NYC took up most of the country and that the West 
and Midwest were about half the size of NYC.  I'm sooooooooo glad that 
I live in the "small" part after escaping from Detroit (which I guess 
is a suburb of NYC ;-) ).
