[BC] Tielines on eBay-Are They Stolen?

Folks,

(Sorry ahead of time for a cross-post but this may be important...)

Has anyone had a Tieline i-Mix G1 or Commander 2RU G1 rack unit stolen or go
missing ever and not had it returned?  

Please be aware that there are a few Tielines for sale on eBay.  We are
constantly on the lookout for stolen or missing Tielines on behalf of
customers.

I saw "be aware" because the two units I see are for sale from a consignment
store.  Perhaps this is legit but we've never seen a customer sell them
through a 3rd party because they know how much they're worth and want to get
every penny.  Plus we have *always* seen stolen Tielines go for sale from
pawn shops or consignment stores.  We have recovered some for customers this
way.  

So far the seller has not responded to my request for the Commander's serial
number and I would not be surprised if I don't get anything in response from
past experience.

The serial number for the i-Mix (G1) looks like 6487 or it may be 6497.
Take a look at one of the close-up pictures to confirm for yourself if you
have one missing...

There are a fair number of days left in this sale so hopefully we can
determine these are genuine and may be a good deal or are stolen and try to
get them recovered.

BTW whenever any item is stolen at a station, *always always* file a police
report right away and report those stolen items to the manufacturer.  There
are many companies like us who keep very vigilant eyes out for such items,
even many years later.  We've helped to reunite rightful owners as much as 3
years later.

I've always **hated** that someone would enjoy the use of a stolen item,
specifically broadcasting gear and *especially* Tielines, and I want to see
a stolen item returned to its rightful owner.
