Has anyone mentioned Canada's 740 CHWO?
Great signal into the northeast here after sundown- and an even better music 
selection- especially Thrusday- Saturday nights.
I love to fire up the Hallicrafters and relive my parent's nostalgia :)

Yes. Not too long ago there was a resurgence of music of that era and
some contemporary stuff done in that style. Those night clubs attract
young people. They called it Swing and it lasted a couple of years.
Jazz composers have always taken standards and rearranged them.
