His 1G will work well with the slightly

Before your time perhaps, but I was at 123
Hampshire in the late '60's working for
George Yazell, with Bill Ellis and Bill
Massey. I do believe Electro made a 230 V
plate transformer used in some boxes.

Very true, HOWEVER, DO NOT trust the voltmeter
on the panel. Measure the voltage on the tube
terminals directly and be sure the connections
are tight and not burnt.

Leveling the line with RFA's will work best for
him and eliminate any potential measuring errors.
I agree with using an OIB to get the ATU close,
but - in this case - strongly recommend old fashioned
leveling for the best results. In a 1T or 1G, this is
a piece of cake because you have the line current RFA
and dummy load built in for verifying another meter
with the line RFA.
