I was working at newly built station that for some reason (probably
cheap) had 75 ohm line from the TX to ATU. There was an FCC
inspection. The 20V3 had the plates nearly white and the inspector
suspected over power operation. He went to the tower, read the base
current and cited the station for UNDER power operation.

Being a "tad" older than many of you, it would NOT surprise me to
find that the Xmtr-Atu line would be older 72 ohm poly cable.
There was a plenty of it in the 50's and 60's left over from WWII.
And was rather cheap AIRC.
