Other than my initial interview, I was never at the New York City 
offices so I don't know how many people they had in NYC. At the N.J. 
studios, they ran three 8-hour shifts for both talent and engineers 
-- unlike some other stations at the time, they ran 24 hours. There 
were probably 5 full-time engineers. I don't recall how many 
announcers they had, but I am guessing that 5 or 6 guys would have 
covered it, allowing for 40-hour weeks and backups for sick time and the like.

Possibly, but I don't remember. 40 years ago is a long time :-)
