C'mon Rich. Pat was always a punk rocker!
Who else in 1961 could get a number one hit out of a song
about a woman who has an affair and kills herself over it by drowning
(Moody River)?

It's not quite "Johnny Angel" :)

I have a copy of that atrocity around, somewhere. I recall his
Televangelist buddies gave him Hell for that album. Wasn't that the
one with him on a Harley with a leather vest? That ranks with Ed Wood
as being so bad it has cult status. That surprised me as much as
finding Jimmy Swaggart in a no-tell motel.

Come to think of it, that didn't surprise me at all. Never mind.
