The author of the article  was Mark Bullock,  who Vice-President/Marketing of 
 Continental Electronics when they purchased Collins Broadcast group in 
October of 1980.   Mark has since retired and passed away.  A true gentleman and 
very knowledgeable on "high power" transmitters at both Continental Electronics 
and High Power Electronics a company he formed in the late 1960's.  He later 
returned to CEC.
