The daytimer in NYC was WLIB, owned by Inner Vity. They were 10 kW non d
daytime only. They bought WOWO, neutered it and now have 30 Kw DA at night in
NYC.

By the way, WOWO is still in the top 5 in Fort Wayne and covers their market
quite well both day and night.

WOWO was *downgraded* some years ago, so a Daytimer in NYC could run 24/7.
(They bought WOWO, gutted it, then resold it.) I'm sure a lot of other
stations
benefitted from WOWO's partial demise. KFXR may well be one of them.

It sure would be interesting to see what would happen to WFIF and all the
other Daytimers on 1500, if someone were to do the same with the former WTOP!
