As I recall McLendon wanted the main lobe
over Dallas (and Ft. Worth) to be quite
impressive.  Protections were severe.

The lobe to the southeast covers the roaring
metropolis of Terrell.  :-)

Four towers would have been fiction, given the
requirements.

The phasing cabinets were recently redone and
simplified.
