[BC] ANY word from FCC abt DST change?

Well, there is no changing physics, even though the lawyers at the
FCC try all the time.

These new dates are STUPID, and we should go back to the old dates.

No one considered kids going to school in the dark in the moring.

No one considered Daytime radio stations.

No one considered the effects upon computers and devices which had
previously automatically changed times.

My Blackberry STILL doesn't work properly, and quite possibly never
will.

How did this happen? Some idiot Congresscritter decided this was a
good idea and put in a bill. (I'm sorry, but I forget the idiot's
name.) The other idiot Congresscritters didn't think about it and
went along with it. An uninformed President signed it into law.

WE were all asleep at the switch and didn't realize what happened
until nearly a YEAR after the law passed. AM Daytimers would have
been reason enough not to do this, and enough of a reason to switch
back. THOUGH, I am willing to work with the EU to conform with
them. For International businesses, the four changes for every
different date each year are real problems.

I don't want to live in Indiana, but I have to tell you, the counties
that don't change time are very appealing to me. The same with
Arizona, and I might like to live there.

I ABSOLUTELY HATE the change. It screws up my internal clock for a
month. I don't wear a watch, yet I pretty much know the time all
day. I get "adjusted" from time to time by looking at clocks or my
computer (or my assistant), and things work just fine. I wake
without an alarm most of the time, unless it is an especially early
time for a early flight or something similar, and things generally
run on time. I don't miss appointments or flights.

THEN we change the clock. TWO TIMES A YEAR, I don't get up at the
right time, and I have a hard time being on time. It lasts between
two weeks to a month. "Springing forward" is the worst, as it makes
me late. "Falling back" isn't that bad, except that I get up too
early, and I am early to everything. The effect is shorter though.
It is like flying between time zones, but worse.

We really need to stop doing this. Pick a freaking time and stick
with it.

Now, regarding your problem, just go on an hour early. Who is going
to notice?

Hey, just kidding.
