When I visited Atlanta for the NAB that year (was it 1992?), when I got off
the MARTA train I noticed that there were trees everywhere.  And it was
raining.  Then it dawned on me -- TREES CAUSE RAIN!  Just look around -- it
rains all the time in the Brazilian rain forest and in Washington's Olympic
Peninsula where there are lots of trees.  Here in the desert there are few
trees (native ones, anyway) and it hardly ever rains.  Do you see the
connexion?  We need to plant more trees here so it will rain more.  And
places prone to flooding need to cut down their trees and sell them to
Lumber Liquidators.  Then everyone will be happy.
