Come on Dale....WINI is not THAT far from civilization. You're 10 minute 
from one of the BEST universities for radio in the USA.  Sure WTAO is now a 
CC (for the moment) station.  Consider yourself lucky that CC abandoned 
Murphysboro and you have the Applefest all to yourself.

If you program your station like a big gun on an antenna and transmitter 
which will perform reliably, your listeners will notice that and it might 
result in better revenues.  Make your station indispensable to M'boro and 
then who cares what everyone else around says.

MM...a SIU grad from"a while back" who frequented the Spillway and went by 
the old tower there off  IL149 frequently.
