Well a 2 to 1 (120 to 240 v) would bring it back to 120v, but it is still 6
more transformers to add to the already 12.  At only 500w per leg it gets
real expensive for iron here and most will be over rated for the project.
Agree with Mike about not stepping up over 480v for code and safety. Now you
see what Edison and Westinghouse had to deal with....no wait Westinghouse
wanted DC...nevermind.
