Previously I posted that Zone LD (long distance) wasn't
working on (dial-up) to a PCAnywhere computer in Iowa (from
Florida).

One of you nailed it when you suspected is was the LD
compression that often goes on to save bandwidth.

I accused Zone, they did something they called a re-route
and it worked FOR THREE DAYS.

So I'm ready to take chances with another reseller LD outfit
and I notice Cleartel has a 2,000 minute limit including
local service provider (themselves not BellSouth) for $65 or
so dollars.

If any of your companies have used Cleartel happily so, or
otherwise, I'd like to hear about it. Off list if you feel
it is necessary. But good long distance service is an issue
for broadcasters, so perhaps a thread on that is warranted.

I know some will say, and perhaps wisely so, to use name
brand carriers, of which it is said there are only three:
AT&T, Sprint, and MCI. (whatever MCI has become)
