Ditto.  In shuffle mode I love segues that go from Little Feat to Beethoven
to Linkin Park to Professor Longhair and then even into Weird Al's "Amish
Paradise" (a genius song!).  With roughly about 3,500 songs (some
downloaded, sorry) it's hard to thumb through all of that.  There is a
downside to too many tunes on an iPod.

Re poorly mastered CDs these days I thought it was just me and my hearing
from too many years of being in radio.  I can cancel the audio specialist's
appointment now.
