Except that when I started buying singles, in about 1967 or 8, many  
cost a DIME at my home town Ben Franklin Five and Dime store (wood  
floor, soda fountain...).  Sure, some cost a Quarter, but certainly  
not $2!  I think I can find it still, but I vividly recall buying the  
Cowsills "Hair" in 1969 for a Dime, and wearing that sucker out.  OK,  
maybe not the best example, but I do remember it.
