[BC] DRM broadcasting to begin in USA

Family Stations, Inc. plans to broadcast DRM, beginning with two of its stations.

WYFR SW in Florida, and even more exciting, WBGR AM 860 in Baltimore, MD.

WYFR SW will integrate DRM transmissions within its current programming schedule.  WYFR does
beam transmissions to Mexico and Canada.

WBGR has been designated to operate full DRM, at this time.

I was informed of this yesterday and given permission to relate this information today.

No target dates have been set, but DRM transmitters are to be installed at the above two
stations.  I'll pass on info as I learn of any.

Hopefully receiver manufacturers will start getting some hardware out there.  I've heard there's a new
DRM module thats been developed for manufacturers.  Anyone have more info on this?
