Hmm...

I *think* the item in the middle is a Halicrafters shortwave receiver.
I see a couple of speakers on the right; if the photo were a bit 
clearer...  the other large unit MIGHT be a ham transmitter... looks 
like it either was mounted in an old AM transmitter that was gutted 
or a cabinet made to look like an old AM transmitter.
