Well, 30 MHz might not be possible because of the long leads, which
make things look so nice. Certainly you could put one of these on 75
meter phone. You might want to change the driver (slight rewiring) to use
a 6146 at frequencies above 4 MHz. The "horizontal output" tube used
in the driver might not be available, but the 6146 always will.
Be careful about the wiring harnesses when you are working inside.
The insulation used in those days would oxidize over the years and
become brittle. It was fine, and would last another 50 years, if you
didn't bend it, but if you move it, it might crumble like uncooked
macaroni!
