[BC] Bye, Bye NBC

NBC does have a radio network of sorts. CNBC does reports for the local all
news station here in NY and I have heard these in other markets. I suspect
this is distributed by Westwood but the origin of the content is from an NBC
outlet. So in some respect NBC radio lives!

Huh?  There hasn't been an NBC Radio Network for years.  True, Westwood One
markets some stuff under the "NBC Radio" brand, but it's not the same thing.

GE _started_ NBC.  Concantation:

GE and Westinghouse form RCA; RCA forms NBC

GE is, was, and continues to hold major chunks of NBC only because 
the operations weren't included when RCA was sold to Thompson.  And 
there's a Radio Network, not just a TV network, as well.
