I'd like to know how many receivers they've "inspired" listeners to
buy. It would seem to me that the $200+ spent on a receiver might be
subtracted from what they would have contributed. There's nothing
more to drive it than the claim of "radically" higher quality. When
stations use hype-laden words like "radical" and "revolution"I get
very suspicious.

I've never used an IBUZ receiver where the digital and analog
coverage were equal.

I spent the past few days in Providence, RI. The only station in New
England with significant IBUZ coverage is WBZ, Boston. Even then,
power line interference kills it dead and the digital drops out well
before the analog is annoying. At night my JVC won't lock onto
digital where it will during the day. I get a digital indicator on
WFAN, New York, but no lock. Most New York 50Kw stations are
receivable in Western MA with listenable signals. I should have been
able to receive most of them in digital in Providence. The same was
true on my trip to the tip of Cape Cod. WBZ was the only signal that
stayed locked most of the time.
