Now, in a total change from my usual (and rightly deserved) IBUZ-bashing,
check this out! I actually found a modest-sized AM station that is running IBUZ
and they are actually having some marked success with the thing!

VERY interesting!
So far it looks like this station may be the exception as far as getting
listeners interested. They have *Motivated* listeners who are willing to go "the
extra mile" to hear this station's programming. They have also been doing an
outstanding job of *Educating* their audience. They have helped to sell a number
of the radios, probably a vastly greater percentage than in most other
markets! (Especially if those markets' advertising campaigns consist of that useless
"stations between the stations" drivel.)
According to a note from the station manager there, they are getting
approximately equal IBUZ/Analog coverage. I wonder about the receivers in those cases.
