7L12 lacks the max hold storage feature of the 7L5, 7L13, 7L18 etc.
It worked with a main frame such as the 7x1x such as 7513 that
used a storage CRT that is almost impossible to find in good
condition today. Most tubes tend to bloom in the storage mode
and are useless for a 10 minute capture. For AM NRSC, stick
with the 7L5, and for FM the 7L13. The 7L18 is a good tool for
UHF, but avoid the 7L12 - useless.
