I have been trying out some of the more inexpensive models. The B&K is
less than satisfactory. I have had 3 of them 2 were DOA and the other
was squirrelly and ceased to function. Gave up on that.
Been looking at the used market to find something decent. I see the Tek
495p a few places reasonably priced.
I would like a tracking generator on it and I don't think the 495p has
that. When the B&K worked it was one of the nicer features it had.
I have a 7L12 but would like to find something nicer under 3k which
means the used market 50khz-1.8Ghz is all the more range I need.
There are some new Korean models but I don't know if that is just more
of the B&K level stuff.
