I'll try, as usual, to make this brief.

Thanks for sharing your experience and knowledge with us on the Broadcast list.

We can probably sum up most everything by saying, "Please remember 
these are your professional colleagues, and act accordingly."  For 
this reason, this list is not anonymous  nor a place to flame others.
On the other hand, a modicum of respect and courtesy is almost all you need.

As part of that courtesy, we do ask that you change the Subject, when 
you go somewhere else with a topic. And, please, in deference to the 
many Digest readers, if not those on dialup, trim your quotes.

A good rule of thumb, although it is not an inflexible rule, is use 
only enough quoting to frame your comments, which should be at least 
50% of the post. (A one sentence response to a quote of 50 lines is 
inappropriate and inconsiderate.)  To prevent "accidental" quotes of 
a whole digest with one or two new lines, "Broadcast Digest" is not 
acceptable on the Subject line.
