[BC] Mod Monitors and peak flashers...

Meter ballistics is the reason for the "Peak Light" or flasher. I
forget the exact number off the top of me head, but there is a
specific time duration for the peak/s before the light would flash.

Occupied bandwidth is one way to make measurements and sort of
accomplishes the same thing. Can you imagine what would happen if we
did away with the standardized +/- 75 kHz (ok. 110 with SCA's) and
went strictly by occupied bandwidth? Now we'd be arguing over which
spectrum analyzer and methodology to use. It would bring new meaning
to the term, "Modulation Wars". Can you also imagine what it would
be like if everyone on the freeway was driving one of those monster Hummers!
