That is most likely for the Laural, Md. Monitoring Station.  They used to have staff at most of the monitoring stations across the country 24/7, but they reduced the staff and made the stations remote controlled.

Within the past 6 months I saw a job posting for the FCC for several
engineers "with direction finding" experience. The post said the
positions involved operating DF equipment by remote control. The
position location was in Maryland.
