[BC] AM Stereo On A Mono Radio

As we install our new ATU's we still have the transmitters in analog.  But
everyone mentions the increased audio quality.

As others have alluded, clean up the plant, install a SS TX, broadband the 
antenna, and tune the system properly for proper cusp rotation. The station 
will sound better regardless of whether C-QUAM is installed.  Those are 
proven facts...over and over.

I never saw a decrease in mono range with a C-QUAM system operating.  So 
that angle is bunk.  Plain and simple.

Modernize your plant, antenna ground, and it's matching system (note I 
didn't say tuning) and you'll hear the improvement immediately.
