OK, well I'm not familiar with the 50G tube line-up but I knew for
sure that a 6697 was a PA.
I changed quite a few of those over the years.

The 50H lineup was:  exciter > 4-250 > 4CX5000 > 6697 in each RF chain.
The drivers were in the middle cubicle and ran off a 5-KV supply.

Both supplies ran off 5K1 but it was possible to run the 5-KV supply
without the 15-KV supply by putting the delta-wye switch in the
neutral position.
